What can I tell you about me that will help you in your search for a wedding photographer? I love my job, that is for certain. I am so honored every time I am asked to shoot a wedding. It takes a great amount of confidence to trust someone with your wedding day memories. Some think that wedding photography is very stressful because you only get one chance, but I am never nervous or scared. I just absolutely, from my 10 toes to my freckles on my nose, LOVE MY JOB!

I wish I could use this space to brag about all of my credentials and associations and awards. The truth is I don't belong to any associations ((collective gasps)) and can only think of one award I won in elementary school (and it was honorable mention)*. I simply believe in working hard and playing hard. I also believe that my best training comes from being behind my camera shooting beautiful, happy people. I believe I am very different, and I believe my brides are 100% OK with that.

Your search for the perfect wedding photographer has lead you here, but I am NOT perfect. I will tell you though that my heart is in this job, it has been from the start. Please take a moment to go here and read what a few of my brides have said. I now count some of them as my very best friends.

I have been dying to blog these photos since about 2:15 today, but have had a million things to do! Why have been so anxious? Well, Tonya and Brian REALLY eloped, as in no one knew! No one, but me, the minister and Tonya’s hair dresser! gahhhhh! So this blog post will serve as their way of telling the world they are one! I am so so so so happy to get to blab the news.

Tonya was my VERY FIRST FRIEND when we moved here in 2004! I instantly realized she was as goofy as me and we clicked. I can’t imagine missing out on today as her photographer (and friend!). This is one of those time where being a photographer gets me access to the good stuff before anyone else and believe me I have loved it!

I love you Tonya and I love your new (super handsome) hubby! I am so happy for you and the girls. I can’t wait to spend time with your new family and meet your new stepson too!
