Sarah and Rob Part I {the reception set-up}

This week I am doing things a little differently!  I was SO in love with Sarah and Rob’s Wedding Reception that I wanted to start with the set up photos from the Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro.  To tell the truth, I am love with everything about this couple and their wedding, but I just have to start with these photos.

I asked Sarah’s mom, Jan, about the talent behind the cake and flowers and she wrote me this:

The florist was Jan Williams of Buds of Beauty, assisted by Jerry McMillan. Jan has another fulltime career but does this as a side business, working from the shed in her back yard just down the road from our house. The cakes were done by Mrs. Annelle Dickey, who made mine and Joe’s wedding cake as well as Anna and John’s (Sarah’s sister) and virtually every birthday cake the girls ever had. She is 70 years old now! Amazing lady. BOTH florist and cake lady are local Millen ladies, proof that there’s plenty of talent in a small town.

It doesn’t get any better than that!!!

I have never photographed a wedding at the country club in Statesboro, but I do hope I return soon!  The lighting was amazing and Sarah and her mom chose the PERFECT colors for this venue!!!

See for yourself.  I know there are tons of images, but I think they all give you the feel of a southern spring wedding.  I love the Georgia peaches especially and the aqua blue accents!
