double the cuteness… TWINS! {savannah newborn photographer}

I recently held a casting call of sorts asking for twin newborns that I could photograph.  I received an overwhelming response and wish I could do them all.  One of the first mom’s to contact me, Shanna, arrived at the studio yesterday with two of the cutest babies I’ve ever laid eyes on.  I won’t lie, it was a challenge, but Shanna and her mother in law were a huge help and little Melana and Nikolai were dreams to photograph.  Born 1 month early (Shanna’s due date was yesterday!) they are growing so quickly and are just so healthy and sweet.  I have a couple more sessions with multiples coming up and I am so thankful that I was able to double my newborn skills with these two cuties!

chrysti & carl’s wormsloe elopement {savannah wedding photographer}

Chrysti and Carl fell in love with Wormsloe when they were researching locations for their destination elopement in Savannah.  One look and they knew that was where they wanted to start their happily ever after.  I was so honored that Chrysti, also a photographer, asked me to photograph this time for them.  {no pressure, right?}  :)

I hope they enjoy this preview of images from yesterday.  It was truly the perfect spot on the perfect Spring day!

Congratulations you two!  To see more from their elopement, visit www.facebook.com/savannahweddingphotographer.

Thank you to the very kind Rev. Joe Wadas for another sweet ceremony!

a local love story {savannah wedding photographer}

Jamie and David met at work, but it’s not what you would think.  Jamie is a reporter for WTOC news and David is the spokesperson for the Effingham county Sheriff’s Dept so these two crossed paths often in their lines of work.  Often covering tragedy, they were able to find happiness.  The rest as they say…

Yesterday, Jamie was covering the greening of the fountain.  This is St Patrick’s Holiday kick off that draws hundreds to the fountain in Forsyth Park.   It was the perfect chance to see Jamie in action and then snap their engagement photos after.

I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next month!  They are so easy going, fun and just natural around each other.
