I met Melanie and her sweet sweet mom quite some time ago at the Savannah Wedding Studio to discuss her Spring wedding and I knew right away I wanted to shoot this wedding! Yesterday I got to know her family more and they have now adopted me as their daughter and I couldn’t be happier. I now have a redheaded mom! ;) Thank you all for taking me and allowing me to share in such a very special and intimate time in your lives. Joey, thank you for putting up with having my camera in your face for almost 8 hours. Just think you get to go to Mexico now without me! Enjoy it, y’all but promise me you will take tons of photos!

Yesterday I met up with sweet Lindsey and her fiance Carl. I met Lindsey quite some time ago when she booked me for their October 6th 2012 wedding. I’ve been looking forward to shooting their engagements and to meeting Carl. Lindsey was nervous yesterday, but not Carl. :) It’s usually the opposite, I think. In no time at all I think Lindsey warmed up to the camera. They are so sweet together and their Fall wedding is going to be SO much fun. Thank y’all for putting up with all of my silly ideas, and I SO sorry about the rrrrrrrroach. {long story!}

I love shooting engagements. It’s truly the PERFECT ice breaker before your big day! On Sunday I met up with Susanna and Daniel at their neighborhood pub, The Distillery, for a few photos before a change of clothes and a walk around their neighborhood. These two are HI-LARIOUS. You know I like to laugh, a lot! Daniel is a trip. I see a return to the distillery in our immediate future. Thank y’all for making me laugh and for making my job SO easy! You are both so laid back and SO photogenic. I can’t wait until December!
