Carin & David’s Savannah, Ga Destination wedding {Part I, Carin}

The kids and I left Savannah early this morning for LA (lower Alabama) and 9 hours later we are here and more than a little tired, well I am at least! But!!! I was beside myself to look at and blog images from David and Carin’s wedding.

Carin was breathtaking, that is truly the only way to describe her. I can’t explain why, but I feel very protective of Carin like a small porcelain figurine that I need to treasure show off. I know I’ve only known her briefly, but already I feel she will forever be one of my brides that when others are walking down the aisle, I also see her. Isn’t it silly how emotional I let myself become!?

Sarah just got married!

Right now it’s 7:32 am but I am setting this post to publish itself at exactly 5:30 after Sarah and Rob are officially married in Statesboro!

Sarah’s bridals were taken last month at her childhood home in Millen, Ga. I would love to tell you where that is, but to this day I don’t know. I drove their from Baxley, another unknown spot, and it took me a little over 3 hours. Yes, that is too long. It should have taken about 1 hour and 20 minutes. I like to take my time. ;) Sarah and her family are true Southerners and were so patient and sweet with me. I ended up spending the entire day there, literally. Sarah’s Dad, is quite the photographer himself so I begged him to get his camera out and we swapped back and forth a bit and shot some photos of Sarah and her precious niece, Lily. It was so much fun and the images are so special to me. After the shoot we all gathered around my laptop and peeked at a few and then Sarah’s sister, Anna, and mom Jan served lunch. This family is already very special to me, so I know today will be simply amazing! Congratulations Sarah. I can’t wait to actually meet Rob, the poor guy he has know idea the hurricane that is coming his way!! ;)

I do believe these are Doc’s pics of Lily close up on the Sofa! ;) If he brings his camera today, I have some serious competition! ;)

Jillian & Bruce’s Wedding Part I {Jillian and her bouquet}

Yesterday was a beautiful day for a Spring wedding, despite the scattered rain. Jillian chose a gorgeous palette of Coral and green and A to Zinnias designed the most gorgeous floral arrangements for Jillian’s special day! I want to devote this entire post to just Jillian and her bouquet. Both are incredibly Beautiful! Jillian is stunning in her Bleubelle Bridal gown. {Check back in a few posts for a BIG twist in her wedding dress!}

I mixed up my edits quite a bit for this post, because the colors in the bouquet are so fun to play with and well Jillian is just so gorgeous it’s fun to go a little crazy and compare the different looks in lightroom so please be patient with me!

The time between the formal photos and the ceremony gave us the perfect chance to sneak in a mini bridal session in the church nursery, but now that I think about it, I never moved the changing table back by the window. Oops!
